It comes in a lot of textures, materials, designs. It doesn’t even require much maintenance on top of that. Their diversity in color schemes and styles makes them a versatile choice for any living space, including your bathroom. The bathroom tile has been a popular choice for homeowners that also love floor tiling in their bedrooms, kitchens, and living rooms.

Recently, tiles have been making their way into living spaces with insulation or heating subfloors. They can replicate the look and feel of stone or hardwood tiles and are resistant to stains and scratches. However, they are an expensive option than ceramic.

3.Granite Tiles

Granite tiles are made from a condensed ingenious rock, which is responsible for its distinct vein structure, which makes it an artistic tile. Polished granite tiles are very durable, scratch-resistant, and an excellent option for kitchen or bathroom flooring with high traffic volume.

It comes in traditional tile squares and has many crevices. It does, however, require constant maintenance to keep that shine.

4.Cement Tiles

Cement tiles are not only the best choice for your floors on the exterior like the driveway due to their high durability and strength but also great for the bathroom due to their great traction.

If you want to secure your bathroom from the risk of slipping completely, then cement tiles are best. Their rough texture makes them grip to your feet even in wet conditions, but in exchange, you lose the traditional smoothness of a regular tile. This is also similarly priced as the ceramic tiles.

5.Terracotta Tiles

Made from natural clay, the terracotta tile is highly resistant to water and proves to be highly durable. They commonly come in the glazed form to improve overall rigidity and yield many different colors.

They prove to be a great flooring material that can be used on the walls of the bathroom as well.

6.Mosaic Tiles

One of the tiniest tiles in this list, mosaic tiles are made from a variety of materials ranging from ceramic to natural stone or glass. They are also available in glazed and unglazed forms.

7.Marble Tiles

Marble tiles come in a plethora of colors because of the different mineral content of each type of tile. They are durable and come in many kinds of finishes, such as polished, tumbled, brushed, or honed. They are versatile enough to fit in any living space, including your bathrooms.
