HomeWellnessFalling hair? Few home remedies to reduce it and get back healthy...

Is your hair giving you sleepless nights lately? Well, you can blame the season sometimes but not always. It is said that your hair is your crowning glory and majorly affects your looks. Having healthy hair is everyone’s dream as healthy tresses directly reflect a person’s style and personality. Hairstyling, fancy haircuts, and all the other experiments that we like to do on our hair, all possible if you have enough to play with, right? To be honest, we often tend to ignore taking care of our hair and mostly focus on highlighting the face. But we often forget that hair will eventually play an important role in the overall appearance. So, before your hair decides to leave you, start caring for them.

Well, just like our skin, hair too can have too many problems, like, too oily scalp, dandruff, premature greying of hair and hair fall. Out of these, dandruff and hair fall are the most common concerns that people go through. Are you begging your hair to just stay for some more time? I mean, if you are having a decreasing hairline, it can be due to so many reasons. Stress can be the main reason for hair fall. The lifestyle we have can be stressful leading to falling hair and this leads to more stress. See. We lose almost 50 to 100 hair strands each day which is completely normal. But when the number increases, you can count it as hair fall. Initially starting on a smaller number, it can lead to baldness as well. Don’t be scared, first of all, you should focus on finding the root cause of this problem. It might be genetic in some cases, while others may be curable. Once you figure out the cause, you can now opt for a suitable cure for the same. Here are a few home remedies to cure this problem. You don’t need medicines, at least, not right now, though you might have to buy plants online, as the list requires natural ingredients.

Onion juice

Onion juice is the most opted home remedy. It has become famous with time and is effective as well. You can also try this remedy if it works well for you. For this, you need to blend onions and strain the juice out of the pulp. Now, apply the juice on your scalp focusing on the patches where there is less hair. Keep for about 40 to 60 minutes and wash off with water. You can repeat it 1 to 2 times a week. Onion works well for hair fall that is why there are onion shampoos available now that claim to stop falling hair.

Egg yolk mask

Your hair is made up of protein majorly, so the protein we eat reflects on the hair. Sometimes, hair fall might be because you might not have enough protein in your body. So, if you can, other than just eating eggs, apply it to your hair as well. Egg works well in improving the condition of your hair. It has everything that your hair needs to grow and stay healthy. To achieve that healthy hair, whisk the yellow part (egg yolk) and apply it to your scalp and leave it on for about 30 minutes. After that, wash your hair with a mild shampoo to get rid of the smell. You don’t even need to use a conditioner because an egg is a perfect conditioner.

Aloe Vera

Another home ingredient that works well when suffering from hair fall is aloe Vera. Aloe Vera is known to be helpful in the thickening of hair. You can try this remedy to prevent your hair from falling. Aloe Vera has been used for a long time in this condition because it soothes the scalp and also conditions the hair. Aloe Vera also takes care of dandruff which is also a big reason for hair fall. Apply aloe Vera to your scalp as it will unblock your hair follicles caused due to excess oil. Apply pure aloe Vera at least twice a week. You can scrap pure aloe Vera gel from its leaves. If you don’t have aloe Vera plants at home, order indoor plants online to get fresh aloe Vera every time.

Fenugreek

Fenugreek also works well for people with hair fall problems. To get its benefits, what you have to do is soak a half-cup of fenugreek seeds in water, overnight. The next morning, grind the seeds to make a paste and apply this paste to your scalp. Leave it for about 30 to 50 minutes or more and wash off with water.

These are the home remedies that one can try to deal with falling hair. I would like to repeat that before trying any of these remedies. You should first find the root cause of the problem.
