You landed on the right page if you are thinking of what comfort food to cook and which pasta to use.

  1. Often served with red sauce or meatballs, Spaghetti has become a favorite both by kids and the kids-at-heart worldwide.
  2. A flat pasta, which absorbs flavour easily, Fettuccine is often paired with wine sauces or creamy seafood, chicken, and Alfredo sauce.
  3. A shorter version of Fettucine is Linguine. It works well with cream-based dishes like Carbonara and other seafood-based pasta recipes. Pair it with exquisite Italian wines and enjoy.
  4. Creamy sauces are great with Penne pasta. For a quick and easy recipe, you can add olive oil, salt and pepper to the pasta.
  5. Macaroni is the star of Mac n Cheese and chicken soups that are popular comfort foods in many countries worldwide.
  6. A pasta similar to Penne is Rigatoni, without the diagonal edges. This pasta tastes best when paired with chunky vegetable dishes like Pesto, an Italian pasta.
  7. Corkscrew spaghetti or the Fusilli can be paired with chunky, meaty sauces, pasta bakes and salads.
  8. Encourages children to eat vegetables with Farfalle; often used in salads, and BLT (bacon-lettuce-tomato) salad is an example. It’s easy to make and great for children aged 9-12, but all ages can enjoy it!
  9. Lasagne this pasta sheet is known for its delicious Lasagna recipe.
  10. A square pasta often filled with cheese, seafood, or vegetables is the Ravioli. It can be used in soups or are drizzled with olive oil, salt, or other seasonings.
