The company has announced the addition of two PlayStation 5 exclusive features to its Sony Bravia smart TV lineup. Sony announced the addition of Auto Genre Picture Mode and HDR Tone Mapping to a select range of its Sony Bravia smart TVs. These PlayStation features enable compatible games to run at frame rates up to 120 frames per second in 4K resolution.
According to the company, Sony Led TV features input lag of as little as 6.0ms on the Z9J and 8.5ms on the other BRAVIA XR TV models, enabling gamers to enjoy a fluid experience, mainly when playing high-performance games that require instant on-screen action.
In terms of features, the Sony PlayStation Auto HDR Tone Mapping feature automatically optimizes the HDR settings during the PS5’s initial setup. According to Sony, PS5 will automatically recognize and select the optimal HDR setting for each BRAVIA XR TV model.
Customers will see critical details and colors in high contrast scenes due to their Sony Led TV display specification’s optimized HDR tone mapping level.
