Keep eternal hope in perspective. Career success, possessions, recognition, and earthly achievements are temporary. The Christian inheritance is ultimately found in what God promises through Christ.
Give thanks for Jesus. Our justification and hope are inseparable from the saving work of Christ. Remembering Him keeps Christian faith centered on the gospel rather than personal achievement.
When Facing Difficult Times
Difficult seasons can make us question our worth.
Failure, disappointment, guilt, financial pressure, broken relationships, or other struggles can lead us to measure ourselves by what we have accomplished or failed to accomplish.
Titus 3:7 reminds us that our ultimate standing with God is grounded in grace.
This does not mean that our mistakes have no consequences. Nor does it mean that Christians never need repentance or correction.
It means that our hope is not based on achieving flawless performance.
When we fail, we can confess our sins, seek forgiveness, make things right where possible, and continue walking with Christ.
