CLAT 2019 is expected to be an offline test, basically a pen-paper test. Until last year, it was an online examination; however, this has changed since 2019. CLAT is also expected to have certain subjective questions as against the pattern till date, which had only objective questions. This is a 2-hour exam with 200 questions to attempt and all the questions are multiple-choice questions. For every correct answer, you can score 1 mark and for every incorrect answer, there is a negative marking of 0.25. Topics included in this exam include English, GK, current affairs, numerical ability, legal aptitude, and logical reasoning. Legal aptitude along with GK and current affairs carry the maximum questions at 50 each.

Preparation for CLAT 2019

Experts suggest that every aspiring candidate should devote at least 30 minutes on a daily basis in reading up current affairs. Legal aptitude is also one of the most crucial topics and hence more time should be devoted to this while preparing for the exam. Concepts of law should be clear in order to crack this exam. Good reading on law journals, newspapers, etc. are advised in order to successfully attempt the English vocabulary section.

As far as logical reasoning is concerned, most students can get the answers correct, but time management is crucial to passing the exam.

CLAT 2019 results are expected to be announced by NLU Odisha. Results will be available online and the same can be checked by entering the login credentials. Candidates get a score as well as an All India Rank Card. A merit list is published after successful completion of the exam. CLAT 2019 is expected to attract nearly fifty thousand aspirants from across the country out of which roughly about four thousand candidates will make it to one of the top law schools of the country.
